Course Description
This course is designed to equip teachers with the skills, strategies and resources necessary to effectively integrate thinking skills into their teaching practice. By focusing on how to teach students to think critically, creatively, analytically and practically, participants will leave with the tools to create a dynamic and engaging classroom environment.
This course provides a comprehensive exploration of thinking skills, including critical, creative, analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills. Teachers will learn practical methods for explicitly teaching these skills and incorporating them into their teaching.
Participants will engage in both theoretical discussions and practical activities to ensure they leave with actionable strategies. The course emphasises real-world applications to ensure that teachers can confidently implement these skills in a variety of educational settings. A supportive online community will be available for continued collaboration and resource sharing after the course.
Aim
The aim of this course is to equip participants with the necessary skills to enhance their thinking abilities across various domains, enabling them to apply these skills effectively in both personal and professional settings.

2. Problem-Based Learning (PBL): Teachers solve real-world challenges related to integrating thinking skills into their lessons.
3. Micro-Teaching: Participants deliver short lessons, followed by immediate peer and expert feedback.
4. Case Studies: Analysis and adaptation of successful examples of thinking skills integration.
5. Hands-On Resource Creation: Development of teaching aids and assessment tools tailored to individual needs.
